Sunshine: From me to you!

Not every day comes with surprises, but some do. And, today was one such day. Have you ever realized what is so magical about being gifted? Is it the gift? Absolutely not. Is it the person? No, again. The human race is more selfish than that. It is actually the feeling of being loved, cared and remembered. Thinking about it, what is life anyway, apart from the little memories we collect on our way. Little memories of happiness. Thank you Joy! Not for the gift though, but for the love. 

Having talked about the most important highlight of the day, the lesser important things followed. And I passed my driving learner's test, today. Yayy! I know it's nothing important. But this year I have decided to celebrate every little thing that comes my way. And I think you should too. For long, I have been the kind of person who wouldn't get excited about the little things in life. Even birthdays did not delight me. After all, we grow old everyday. Rather pessimistic, isn't it? So what was I waiting for: to be the next president of the country or to be on Forbes list of successful people! And believe me or not, this pessimism slowly intensifies, and slowly it turns into a dark feeling that clouds your thoughts that psychologists refer to as "depression".

So, what are we waiting for? Let's live. Let's celebrate whatever little we have. And let's stop waiting for good things to happen to us. I wish you all (whoever is reading the blog) a slice of sunshine for the rest of the day!
